Online Giving
Resurrection Parish is now offering additional electronic giving options to help support the parish. With our parish online giving portal, Resurrection allows you to make gifts to both our regular weekend offertory, special collections and Diocesan collections. Flexible options for giving frequency and setting payment dates add to the convenience.
Online Giving is an easy and convenient way to support Resurrection Parish. The benefits of online giving include the convenience of being able to give from anywhere at any time that's best for you, not having to write checks, and the ability to set up recurring donations so you don't miss an opportunity to give while you are away. And, because you may set up donations to both regular offertory and second collections, there are no need for envelopes.
Parishioners can give using direct withdrawal from checking and savings accounts or credit or debit cards, giving you more payment options. This reduces Resurrection’s need to process your paper checks.
Vanco Payment Solutions is the service provider. Vanco Payment Solutions is a financial services company who already provides these same services to thousands of other churches.
Together, we take protecting the security and privacy of all our donor’s payment information and transactions very seriously. That’s why Vanco utilizes the most advanced technology and follows the most stringent guidelines to ensure all your information remains secure. As part of Vanco’s comprehensive security and privacy safeguards, they only collect the pertinent information required to perform your payment transactions. And, that information is stored in Vanco’s secure system and only used when needed to fulfill your requests and services.
Vanco reviews the security measures and policies continuously to ensure they adapt seamlessly to any changes in technology or the business environment.
Our system allows you to make gifts to both our regular weekend offertory and our second collections. Additional parish collections may be added to our website so you can check back often. Flexible options for giving frequency and setting payment dates add to the convenience.
Processing fees are the fees that online giving providers charge Resurrection for utilizing their service to provide automated giving options. You are able help offset the cost of the convenience fee charged to the Parish by checking the box that says, “I would like to help offset the processing fees associated with online giving.” on the checkout page.
The amount of the processing fee varies according to whether the donation is provided via a checking or savings account bank transfer or using a credit/debit card. The most fee efficient way to make monthly contributions to the Parish is through ACH, directly from a checking or savings account, as it avoids credit card fees.
Think of our new online giving system as a virtual collection basket. Once you set up recurring donations for your regular offertory and second collections, there is no longer a need to use envelopes. In fact, you can cancel your envelopes by emailing [email protected].
Although we encourage everyone to take advantage of the convenience of online giving, you may make your gifts to Resurrection Parish in any way you wish. Checks and cash with or without an envelope are appreciated. We gratefully accept all gifts and thank you for your generosity.
