Resurrection Fair Trade Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate Project - For the past 12 years, Resurrection Parish has sponsored a Fair Trade project that allows parishioners to buy Fair Trade Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate at wholesale cost. From 2004 through 2015, Resurrection Parishioners have purchased almost $45,000 worth of Fair Trade products that allow struggling farmers around the world to earn a living wage to support their families. Because of this, you have helped guarantee that small farmers in developing countries will be able to sell the fruits of their labor at a price that allows them to put food on their tables, maintain a modest home, and clothe and educate their children. There are 6 Fair Trade sales in the Gathering Space per year ... usually the 1st two weekends of the odd-numbered months.
For all of you who have supported this project over the years ... Thank You! We hope we can count on your continued support. For those who are new to the parish or have been considering purchasing Fair Trade products ... welcome! We hope you will look into it and decide to support the project as well.
